Call for Entries - Submit now

The Call for Entries 2022 is open for your horror film submissions since today. Until June 30th you have the opportunity to have your films evaluated by an expert jury and to be included in the Official Selection 2022.

The now 18th Fright Nights Film Festival will take place like every year at the end of October at the Hollywood Megaplex Pluscity (Pasching, Upper Austria). Thanks to Corona, we won’t be able to tell you the exact festival date until April.

During our Call for Entries, which takes place from April 01 to June 30, you can submit your short or feature film for the competition or also in the category “out of competition”. By filling out and submitting our form, you accept the conditions of participation.

Submissions 2022 – Submission fee and deadline:

If you would like to participate in the Call for Entries and submit your horror film, there is a small fee. Films in the “out of competition” category can be submitted by you free of charge. There is a discounted submission fee for our Young Talents under the age of 26.

Please note: The submission of your scary production is not considered complete until the submission fee has been received in our account. In addition, we have recently started offering payment via PayPal. In this case, an additional flat fee of 2 euros will be charged.

For submissions until June 30, 2022:

  • Short films (up to 30 minutes): € 20,-.
  • Long films (60 minutes and more): € 30,-.
  • Young Talents: € 6,66,- (up to 26 years)
