Diego Mezarina

Audiovisual Producer and Director, graduated from the University of Lima (Peru). With specialization in Cinematographic Projects (Shorts Films and Documentaries) with successful distribution in Europe, Asia and Latin America. My international participation includes Festivals in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Palermo, Alicante, Belgrade, Varazdin, Erlangen, Fukuoka, California, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Florianópolis, Viña del Mar, among others.
Likewise, I have extensive experience in the field of Music Videos, Corporate Videos, Television Pilots and Script Consulting.
With my Production House: El Diego Producciones EIRL, I am developing the Project: “Work in Progress” (Feature Film), whose locations include the city of Lima, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Barcelona. The Project has been carried out entirely based on cellular devices (I-Phone) and its premiere at Festivals is planned for the 2nd semester of 2026.

Director Statement

„Inspiration“ is a psychological thriller that alternates between the dreamlike and the fantastic, with lighthearted doses of black humor.
The story itself seeks to take us through a Dantesque and unpredictable universe, where successive plots and extreme situations will delight the viewer.
