The Behemoth
Ryan und Rebecca sind im Urlaub in den Bergen. Sie checken in eine Airbnb-Wohnung ein, die Christine gehört. Plötzlich erscheint im Bergdorf eine mysteriöse Sekte namens „Die Diener des Blutes“, angeführt von ihrem Priester Malek. Ihr Ziel ist es, einen uralten Gott wiederzuerwecken, durch den die Menschheit aussterben und „Die Diener des Blutes“ zu ewigem Leben gelangen sollen.

Kai Edmund Bogatzki is a German director and editor known for his work in genre cinema, especially psychological horror with strong thriller
elements. His films stand out for their tight storytelling, unsettling
atmospheres, and powerful twists.
Before stepping behind the camera, he built a prolific career as an editor, working on over thirty short and feature films. This background gives him
a sharp command of pacing and dramatic tension.
He made his feature directorial debut with Scars of Xavier (2017),
followed by The Behemoth (2025), a Lovecraftian and apocalyptic tale. His upcoming film Obscure (in postproduction) continues in the same dark, paranoid vein.
Bogatzki’s work is immersive, visceral, and unpredictable, establishing him as one of the rising voices in contemporary European horror.
