Short Film
Voice Academy

Director Statement
Voice Academy presents itself as a fantasy plot and invites reflection on the construction of identity and our concept of masculinity.
What I want to explore is the „clash between two worlds“: observing the tension between an animated imaginary and the way it appropriates absolutely everything in the real world in a destructive manner.
Brace yourself for a bold mix of high-pitched kawaii voices, ridiculous situations with masks, body horror, hints of hentai, and, naturally, some unorthodox speech therapy.
