Edgar Esquivel

Edgar Esquivel, professional director, is a graduate of the Bachelor of Audiovisual Media with Guidance in Realization from the Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales CAAV. His training is complemented by a film directing workshop at the Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos CEC, reflecting his continuous search for learning and growth in the field of filmmaking.
Passionate about film, Edgar has solid hands-on experience in audiovisual production. He has demonstrated his versatility and commitment in short films such as „Solo,“ where he was in charge of directing, writing, producing and editing.
His participation also includes roles as Assistant Director in „Leaving the World Behind“ and as Assistant for Production, Data Manager, Assembly and Editing in „Who is Andrea Morales?“. In addition, he has ventured into the creation of video clips, serving as Assistant Director in „You Know What.“.
Among his outstanding skills are the professional handling of drones, sound equipment, and a remarkable expertise in video editing and editing using specialized software such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects, as well as design and editing with Adobe Photoshop. Edgar is an enthusiastic collaborator, always seeking to foster a productive teamwork environment. His profile is complemented by strong writing and directing skills.
